Terms of use
These terms apply when you use mydossier.lu. We wrote them to be read. If something is unclear, write to hello@mydossier.lu.

Who we are
mydossier.lu is operated by [Company legal name and legal form], [Registered office address], Luxembourg, RCS [RCS number]. All details are in the imprint.
What mydossier does
mydossier helps you rent a home in Luxembourg. You build one rental dossier with an assistant, add supporting documents, check listings against your must-haves, apply with a private link made for each agency, and keep track of your applications.
mydossier is not an estate agency. We do not rent out, broker or manage homes, we are not a party to any rental agreement, and we cannot promise that you will find a home or that an agency will accept your application.
mydossier is free for tenants.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You sign in with a link or a code sent to your email address. Keep that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- An account is for your own household’s dossier. Do not create accounts for other people without their permission.
Your dossier and documents
Your dossier stays yours. You allow us to store, process, translate and display it only to run the service for you, including showing it to the people you share it with.
- Give information that is true and up to date. Agencies rely on it.
- Only upload documents you are entitled to share. If a document concerns someone else in your household, make sure they agree.
- Read what the assistant writes and translates before you share it. You can edit everything.
Listings and matching
When you paste a link, we read the listing once and keep only its key facts (see how our reader works). Only paste links to pages you are allowed to open.
Listing facts come from the listing and may be incomplete or out of date. Matches, AI summaries, travel times and drafted messages help you decide; they are not advice or a guarantee. Check the details that matter to you with the agency.
AI features
Some features use AI: the assistant, text polishing, translations, document checks, listing summaries and follow-up drafts. AI can get things wrong. You see the result before anything is shared, and you stay responsible for what you send.
For agencies
If you open a tenant’s dossier or ask for one of their documents, you agree to:
- use the dossier and documents only to assess that tenant’s application for a home you offer;
- not copy, forward or publish documents, not keep them longer than that purpose needs, and leave the watermark intact;
- comply with data protection and anti-discrimination law when you handle applications;
- not try to reach dossiers or documents you were not given, or collect data from mydossier automatically.
Fair use
Do not use mydossier to deceive anyone, pretend to be someone else, upload unlawful content or malware, get around our security, overload the service or collect data from it automatically. We may suspend accounts that do, after warning you where we can.
Availability and changes
We work to keep mydossier available and safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features.
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Your links stop working at once and your documents become unreadable immediately (see the privacy policy). We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer.
Within those limits, we are not responsible for decisions made by agencies or landlords, for the accuracy of listings published on other websites, or for losses that could not be foreseen when you started using mydossier.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts there or in Luxembourg.
